Meet the interviewers
Hi! My name is Matt Mendelsohn and I am a freshman enrolled at Emory University. I am from Westchester, NY and I am currently Pre-Med. Although my first language is English, I am also proficient in both Spanish and Italian. I chose to interview my Italian professor, Professor Ristaino, because I am currently enrolled in her class and she holds a great deal of knowledge on the subject of foreign language learning. Hope you enjoy!

Hello, all! My name is Jack Dougherty and I am a freshman Finance Major at Emory University. I am originally from Baltimore, MD. My first language is English, but I also am proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and used to be fluent in Cantonese Chinese. For this project, I interviewed my Mandarin professor, Professor Hong Li, since she is multilingual and did not learn English until she was in her 20's. She has a lot of pertinent knowledge on 2nd language acquisition from her experience as both a student of many languages and as a foreign language professor.
